Out of Order

I am sorry for the lack of posts, but my power cord fried so a new one is now on its way. I am borrowing Brett's computer today, but it will be a few day before I can post again. For some good news, my family is coming to see me. They are going to be here for a week. I CANT WAIT!!!!!

I Love Him

When I woke up, I had told my husband  "I really don't feel so good today" and then took a hot shower to hopefully help. After I was dressed, I walked into the living room to find this.
(He calls me Banners sometimes.)

This was everything that he could think of that would make my day better. My cup of water, house shoes, laptop, our movies, and a heating pad just for good measure.

I love him so much!

Delta

Yesterday Brett and I went to Delta to see family. We first ate at Brett's favorite restaurant while we were up there.

We were so stuffed as we always are after eating there.

We then we to check on and pray for Brett's very sick Uncle Larry. He is the sweetest and most gentle man I have ever met. I hate to see him so sick.

Afterwards, we stopped by my Aunt Susie's house.

And went with her to pick up my cousin from school.

Then Brett found a laser pointer that he put to use. He had their cat going crazy chasing it around. It entertained him forever.

Lastly, we saw some war planes at the airport.

All in all, it was a very good day.

Now You See It, Now You Don't

I had a very ugly white hot mark on kitchen table. After I did some research I found out it was so simple to remove. All I did was iron it with steam.

Raindrops on a Tin Roof

I know that this may not look like much to you but it looks glorious to me. The roof of our porch had so many holes in it, we might as well have not had a roof at all. We could not leave anything out there or it would be ruined after a rain. Or our shoes would get wet and freeze at night. The water would just gather in big puddles that would take forever to dry. It was awful. But this is no longer a problem for us. My husband and father-in-law recovered it with recycled tin from our church. It looks stupendous! I cant wait to sit out on my porch and enjoy the next rain.

Signs of Fall

Today, my yard is sprinkled with these lovelies.
Oh Fall, how I adore you.

Painting

I have been painting for two whole days and I am only half way done.
I have to finish before it gets too cold outside.
