I made some Raspberry-Lemon Muffins with a very sour glaze. They are delicious!
Closet Curtains
Our JCPenney is remodeling so everything in the Home department is 30% to 50% off. Perfect timing. I haven't ironed the curtains yet but, other than that, I like it.
Cookies
We were given some Girl Scout cookies to try that were really good. They were the Savannah Smiles. Ironically, the movie Savannah Smiles is where I got my name, not Savannah Georgia.
Time For Baking
In case you didn't know, I do not like to cook at all. But for some reason, this week I wanted to bake. I had to act quickly before this new interest faded and since I never make anything from scratch I gave it a try. I made whole wheat blueberry-coconut muffins and two loaves of bread. I shared it all with some friends and I never thought I would get such an amazing reaction. Everyone ate as much as they could and would not stop raving about the bread. I will admit the bread was wonderful. I think I will be making bread more often.
