I finished another project inspired by Pinterest.
Brett and I collected all of the rocks ourselves.
Crafty
Today we woke up to rain. I really love rain however it did force us to change our plans for today. That was fine with me. I got to spend the whole day with my husband crafting. We first went to the library to get some free books and check out an audio book. We then came home to make all kinds of wonderful things.
These are the books I found at the library. I don't know what I am going to make with them yet, but I am very excited about it. They are perfect!
I will explain more about this one in the next couple of days.
I found this idea on Pinterest. It is going to be a bracelet. I will show you when I am done.

We ended the day with a good dinner and went to bible study. I would be happy if ever week was as good as this one has been.
Tubing, Frisbee Golf, and S'mores
Yesterday was a blast! After church, a few of us went tubing. We live in Colorado so the water was FREEZING. We were so numb that we could not tell how many injuries we had, only that we had hit several rocks and were scratched by the brush. It was quite scary floating down the river so fast. At one point, Brett and I hit a log and it tipped us over. My first thought was "I don't want my hair to get wet" but I quickly realized, that was the least of my concerns. The water was so swift and the force of it had me pinned under. I finally found something to stand on to get my head above the surface. But I saw that Brett's face was smashed against the log we hit and he was still under water. I must say I felt absolutely terrified. I screamed out his name and started to pull him up but he was able to get himself up. The whole thing probably lasted only 30 seconds and then we were back out on our tube. We had so much fun!
Afterwards, we went back to to my father-in-laws house to play some frisbee golf, eat BLT's and s'mores, and have good conversation. It was a great day.
Organization
Today I organized. We dont have a lot of storage in our home so anything helps. I saw this on Pinterest and it helped a lot. Also, thank you to whoever told Brett that I would like Pinterest. I am obsessed!
I went from a huge bag full to a 4 in. by 4 in. tupperware.
Rugs
I don't really have rugs in my house, though I want them very bad. I think I'm too picky. I don't want any of them to match first of all. I want them to look handmade. They need to have good color and not be uniform in any way. And I cant spend more than $5. Here is an example of what I want the one in the kitchen to look like.
Yesterday, Brett and I went to some thrift stores and shopped Main Street. I found the rug I have been looking for! Well, kind of. It looks perfect, but.....
...its a place mat.
This will have to do until I can find a rug.
Spiders
This morning I woke up and went directly to the shower like I do every day. I have really bad eyesight and I was not wearing my contacts or glasses in the shower. Somehow, out of the corner of my eye, I saw what I thought was a baby spider dropping down from the ceiling. I grabbed the string that it was hanging from and washed it down the drain. No big deal. But then, faintly I thought I saw another, and another, AND ANOTHER! In my great terror, I huddled in the running water and froze in fear. I then screamed for Brett who was asleep in bed. He stumbled in, confused and startled, then calmly killed six more.
I just don't know how this happened. Someone from our church had extra bug spray and offered to spray our house. Though we had not seen any spiders, we excepted. Now is when the spiders decide attack, when they should all be dead. I think I took care of them though with some stuff that my brother-in-law gave me. I don't like spiders sharing my shower.
